This TED talk reminds us of the importance of understanding the perspectives of other people. Being able to switch from your perspective to your prospect’s perspective is an essential sales skill.

In any sales situation there needs to be a match between the problem a prospect has, and the solution a seller is selling. As the seller, it is our responsibility to understand the buyer’s perspective, and position our product or service in ways that are most meaningful for the prospect.
